The theme of Wheat Ridge Ministries' 2008 National Symposium on Health and Hope is "Living Well! The Body Language of Faith." This Symposium will provide a rare opportunity for leaders to be resourced and renewed in their ongoing work of being effective agents of health and hope within the diverse communities in which they live, work, play and pray.
Ezekiel is placed, by God, into a valley of dry bones. This is a compassionate act of God … to involve us in the suffering of others.
The command from God to Ezekiel to “prophesy to the wind,” hardly makes any sense to us. But the winds come with their own perspective. It is the perspective of life.
Filled with bodies built up by the Spirit of God, the valley is no longer a place of desolation but a land of blessing.
